We have completed extensive development and testing on a totally dry-sump drive.  The parasitic losses are so low it's confidential.

Many months were invested in CFD (computational fluid dynamics) modeling to find the lowest drag and fastest combination.  The complete lower unit/skeg assembly was modeled for optimum hydrodynamic efficiency and minimum drag.  Up to 37% less drag than the competition.
